A preprint of a study by Magdalena Boch (incoming tenure-track in Social Cognition) and Claus Lamm, together with colleagues from the University of Veterinary Medicine, was cited by the Italian newspaper La Repubblica.

The study examines whether humans are evolutionarily predisposed to fear wolves more than other species, such as dogs.
