Major recognition for the hard and innovative work of SCAN Unit affiliates Luise Graichen and Isabella Wagner, in collaboration with lab head Claus Lamm. In their latest paper in Nature Communications, they link eye movements to memory and its neural correlates; this indicates the existence of an entorhinal map of visual space that is timed with neural activity in oculomotor regions, and negatively associated with subsequent memory.
