Dr. Hernández will collaborate with Prof. Dr. Claus Lamm and Prof. Dr. Ludwig Huber at the CCNU with the project Networks of the Social Brain, a comparative neuroimaging study connecting canine and human social brain function. This project will explore the evolution of brain structures responsible for processing social cognitive processes, with a special focus on comparing the functional connectivity of human and dog brains and it will provide important insights into how humans and dogs have evolved to navigate complex social environments through sophisticated emotion detection skills.
