Position/Institut: Universitätsassistent (Praedoc) beim Clusterprojekt "Synthetic Vaccine Hesitancy to Revolutionize Intervention Testing and Education in Vaccination Communication" am Institut für Arbeits-, Wirtschafts- und Sozialpsychologie unter der Betreuung von Robert Böhm
Als Praedoc erforsche ich, inwiefern es mithilfe künstlicher Intelligenz möglich ist, eine synthetische Population impfskeptischer Personen zu generieren, die die Bedenken, Einstellungen und Verhaltensweisen realer Menschen realitätsnah abbildet. Diese synthetische Population eröffnet vielfältige Anwendungsmöglichkeiten, wie beispielsweise die Untersuchung von Kommunikationsstrategien oder die Entwicklung einer Applikation für Gesundheitspersonal, welche im weiteren Verlauf des Projekts umgesetzt werden.
Mich inspiriert es, in einem motivierten Team zu arbeiten, in dem mittels neuartiger Methoden und innovativer Denkweisen aktuelle gesellschaftliche Fragestellungen bearbeitet werden.
Meine Arbeit schafft gesellschaftlichen Mehrwert, indem sie dazu beiträgt, Impfskepsis besser zu verstehen und einen Beitrag zur Erhöhung der Impfbereitschaft zu leisten.
Meinen Zugang zur Psychologie fand ich durch das Clusterprojekt "Synthetic Vaccine Hesitancy to Revolutionize Intervention Testing and Education in Vaccination Communication".
In meiner Freizeit versuche ich, nicht zu viel Zeit vor dem Computer zu verbringen.

Position/Department: predoctoral university assistant in the cluster project "Synthetic Vaccine Hesitancy to Revolutionize Intervention Testing and Education in Vaccination Communication" at the Department of Occupational, Economic, and Social Psychology under the supervision of Robert Böhm
As a Praedoc, I research to what extent it is possible with the help of artificial intelligence to generate a synthetic population of vaccine-hesitant individuals that realistically reflects the concerns, attitudes, and behaviors of real people. This synthetic population offers a variety of application possibilities, such as the investigation of communication strategies or the development of an application for healthcare professionals, which will be implemented in the further course of the project.
I am inspired by working in a motivated team where current societal issues are addressed using novel methods and innovative ways of thinking.
My work adds social value by helping to better understand vaccine hesitancy and contributing to increasing the willingness to get vaccinated.
My approach to psychology was shaped by the possibility to work on the cluster project “Synthetic Vaccine Hesitancy to Revolutionize Intervention Testing and Education in Vaccination Communication.”
In my free time, I try not to spend too much time in front of the computer.
